Thank you Helen and Hughy for helping me with my new rescue rottie, you helped to reassure us that we have a little gem in the making! You are clearly so committed and do a great job. I love that you are helping to change peoples attitudes towards these wonderful dogs.
Having left behind two beautiful home-bred rottweilers in Jamaica, after a tough decision to return back to England, without them, I am delighted to read about your organisation, and to see the work that you do! The P.A.T programme is a great way to show people, that Rotties are not the "bad boys" but a breed that is intelligent, loyal and faithful. Keep up the good work of raising the profile of this great breed!
Thank you so much, we try and do our very best, all the rotties we get in are treated, as we would do to our own dogs, get toys, bedding and so on, they all live with us in our family home, None of the dogs are put in kennels, that?s why we take in a few at a time, we are just normal families that love the breed, and to show people they are not nasty what the papers make out they are. I wished to god I had a video camera when the day Solo came in to us, she was left on a rubbish tip to die She was in a bad way, HUMANS did this, and they say Rotties are nasty, maybe humans need to take a step back when taking on animals and treat animals the same way humans want to be treated,
i came across your web site by accident but you are genuine caring group of people who are doing alot for a much maligned breed. although rainow bridge reduced me to tears,an threre were lots especially for the puppy and the three sister who's lives were cut short just when they should of been starting.. keep up the wonderful work.
Thank you so much for your message, we have had so many people from all over the world looking at our web site every day! And the same people just keep coming back (thank you for that) But please do join our forum; it doesn't matter where you are in the world. We have updates of all the dogs we have in foster homes. Be great to see new faces
I have a huge love for rotties. I have 2 acres and have 7 wonderful "kids". My husband and I are unable to nave kids so our beloved rotties are our kids. I could'nt image life w/o them. Loving, playful, words can,t tell you how much I love rotties. I live in Missiouri. In the country and have so much fun w/my kids. Thanks for doing such a good job.

Oh!!! how i wished there was a rescue place like you near home!!!.....when looking to re-home a rottie before i got milli....i was interigated to a high degree that i almost started to even doubt why i wanted a rottie..(even though i am an experienced rottie owner!!)...i eventually got my lovely girl direct from owners. used my own intuition..visited 3 times with my kids, took her out and observed them all together!!...never looked back!!...and my youngest child was only 4!!...I feel its very sad some rescue centres tar us all with the same brush, if we have young children!! i had chatted to helen last year about adopting 1 of her rescue rotties and i didnt feel interigated at all!!.....thats why i have joined this site!...and maybe in the future we maybe able to give a little boy a good home!!....well done to you all...fantastic show!!!
Love the site, brought tears to my eyes, gorgeous dogs. You're all doing a great job, well done, thank God there's people like you about. Abby is doing great, she is sooooo loving and gentle. Good luck for the future to eveyone at four paws. x

Your welcome Dee, We try our hardest to do our very best, with all the dogs that come our way. so very happy that little Ellie has settle in well with you and your cats, But you do a great job with your rescue cats, so hats off to you.
I would like to say a great big thanx to Helen and Hughy for the wonderful work you do. My puppy Ellie is a little treasure. I am so impressed at the dedication and love shown to all the dogs that come into your care. So nice to see dogs in a home enviroment and not stuck in a kennel with little contact. Ellie has fitted into my home and is getting on fine with my other dog and all my cats. She is booked for her second injection on Thursday. So looking forward to taking her out to explore the world. She has brought so many smiles and laughs, she is quite a charecter. Keep up the good work, wishing every sucsess in the future. I hope to home another of your dogs when Ellie is out of the puppy stage.
Hi Hughy and the team, Thank you so much, Derek and Gail left a message about Belle. I just cant thank you enough for finding her such wonderfully nice and loving people to give her a forever home. Tonight is the first time I have smiled on this site, others it has been emotional. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you xx
I have never come across a rescue like yours before, the details you give about the dogs are wonderful, and you take so much care in what you do! What a wonderful rescue you are. Just would like to say, Keep up the good work.
Just wanted to say thanks for finding my baby belle a forever home. Havent been on here for a while or spoken with Noreen or Mike who fostered her as didnt want to upset myself. Ive checked tonite, its a bit emotional as I do miss her so much (My bed is cold on 1 side) I know I did the right thing even though it hurts like hell. Thank you sooo much tho. It would be good if u could let me know from time to tim how she is doing the boys miss her too. Wonderful memories of my beautiful baby girl belles-apelle x
Hi, I came across 4 paws while trawling the net looking for a rescue Rottie pup. I take my hat off to the team there, I didnt want a pup that had been locked up in a run with little human contact. Was so impressed after speaking with Helen. The first weeks of a pups life are so important to its development. When I was told Bella was in a home enviroment I knew my search for the right pup was over (been looking for months). Im so looking forward to collecting Ella and to her becoming a treasured companion. Big respect for the work you do with this wonderful breed. look forward to meeting you soon, keep up the wonderful work.
Hi - Sonia it must be horrible to have to give away your pooch - my relationship just broke down too but Ive managed to hold on to my baby after a huge struggle to get her back with me where she belongs. Best of luck xxxxxx
Thank you very much for all your comments, 4-Paws try our hardest to try and help as many people and rotties as we can, some times we just get there a little to late. Hi I came across Rottie Rescue by chance of a neighbour, I have been looking to rehome my pooch due to relocating after a breakdown in my marriage. I love my pooch dearly but know she is on her own for long hours and I cant take her with me, I wanted to find someone that will make sure she will be looked after and found a good home for. Rottie Rescue are excellent, I know that when the time comes to hand her over(I've not left yet so cant bare to be without her) she will be in the best hands. Thank you so much for the support you have given me, I will miss her but at least I know she will be safe and loved x
Just want to say? These guys are one of the best Rottie rescue I have come across, When you need help! These guys are so helpful, I have phoned many Rottie rescue, one rescue I phoned, she was so very rude over the phone! How the hell can they call them self a rottie rescue is beyond me???? You guys need a medal for all the good work you are doing. Again I want to thank you
all rescues do a great job, but unfortunately there are a lot of un experienced owners, who then get a rotty and find out that they are hard work, and then they end up in rescues or put to sleep through no fault of there own, brought up with the knowledge, love, resect and care a rotty will be a loyal companion to enjoy, i think it is a tremendous job that the rescues do in finding them new loving homes, accessing the dog, the costs that they incurr with vaccinations, id chip, food, vet costs etc, as for neutering, not all dogs can be neutered before they are rehomed, especially if they are puppies, but if you adopt it, its our responsibility as owners to get the dog neutered, and i think that this should be a stricked condition that if the new owner does not send proof of the dog been neuterd in a required time, that the rescue should then take the dog back in to care, you do a great job well done
