September 2009 We have had another great year so far, for re-homing dogs despite one team member going in and out of hospital for eight months leaving Hughy, Liz and Tasha manning the post.

In February 4-Paws Rottweiler rescue had a little female called Bella; she was just about to explode when on March the 3rd Bella had puppies all 13 of them, but sadly 3 died.

End of February we took on a very bad case of neglected, she was tied up on a rubbish tip left to die (how can any human being do this to a dog) we named her Solo, Solo was fostered by Helen and Hughy, Solo couldn't stand, She was unsteady on her feet, Solo was covered in open sore, she had no fat on her what so ever. It was heart breaking to see a dog in this condition, she was covered head to toe in lice, Helen and Hughy took her to the vets, who wanted to put her down there and then. NO! Helen and Hughy gave her a change; it was now down to Solo if she wanted to live. She cried when she had cream on her open sore, then another sore would break out, it was never ending, BUT Solo came through! she did it, she wanted to live, she was putting on weight and the sore were going one by one

By end of June our funds took a hammering due to the puppies and Solo, the team booked up to do Bedfont lakes, we did very well at  Bedfont, despite  the booking  problems for Bedfont and all the cock up's. Made some new friends, some of 4-Paws Rottweiler rescue dogs where there with their new owners lovely to see them again it was a Fantastic Day, we did make a few bob.

Some team members have been selling items and doing car boot sale to rasie much needed funds, always seems to be never ending, with one dog going out and another one needing help with more problems than the last one, its a shame.

4-Paws Rottweiler Rescue lost 4 beautiful dog'sin 2008 Fluff, Tia, Zara and little Bear, stories are on OVER THE RAINBOW. 4-Paws Rottweiler Rescue team had wonderful support from every one and many other rescues, we thank you for that. From this day we still don't know why the three little girls die.
